The gift of the Holy Spirit

(This is an encouragement written by Lady Imagawa, our worship leader.)

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Luke 11:13 KJV

This was Jesus speaking and He always reminds us of how good our Heavenly Father is. I know I keep reminding you about asking the Holy Spirit for help in your everyday lives, and I hope you have been doing it already. But reminders aside, this is a fact. Our God knows it is difficult for us to continue our lives without His guidance and protection, that's why the Holy Spirit is there.

We are blessed to be able to keep the word of God in our hearts. So that in this way we may be able to show it through our actions. People will see the meaning of why they will need the Lord in their lives. As you know that we are part of a wicked generation, we always want a sign and tangible thing to be presented before we believe. This is a way for how unbelievers would also want to ask God for such help and believe that God can and is able to do so.

We need the help from God to be able to continue not an easy life but a life knowing we are under His grace from the time we surrendered our lives to Him and making the Lord our personal Savior. Our God is listening to you. Speak to Him anytime of the day. He is a good good God. He will give you gifts as He has given you His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
